Court orders mental examination for abduction-accused kombi driver

The Justice of the Peace’s courtroom in Harare has ordered a psychological examination for a kombi driver accused of making an attempt to kidnap 25 kids from David Livingstone Main Faculty in Harare.

Samuel Honde, 60, appeared in courtroom this weekend and can endure the study the state of his thoughts.

This was after he was displaying indicators of confusion when arrested.

Honde had been an everyday driver for kids from the varsity for years. He nonetheless final week picked up the kids and was discovered 103km on Harare-Mutare.

The driving force has been remanded in custody till 2 February 2024.
