Zimbabwe president Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed FBC Financial institution CEO Dr John Mushayavanhu as the brand new Governor of the Reserve Financial institution of Zimbabwe (RBZ).
He replaces Dr John Mangudya, who’s to guide the Mutapa Sovereign Wealth Fund.
Mangudya leaves after 10 years as Governor and was not eligible for a renewal when his time period ends on 30 April 2024.
In one other transfer, Mnangagwa has appointed Ambassador Albert Ranganai Chimbindi as Everlasting Secretary within the Ministry of International Affairs and Worldwide Commerce.
He takes over from Ambassador James Manzou, who retires. Manzou turns into the brand new Chairperson of the Public Service Fee from 1 January 2024.
Manzou has been in authorities since 1980.
