Mnangagwa announces 2023 election date, including run-off if needed

Zimbabwe president Emmerson Mnangagwa has lastly proclaimed the date for the 2023 Harmonised Elections.

The date is 23 August 2023.

The nomination courtroom will sit on 21 June 2023.

Within the case of a Run-off – 2 October 2023.

Zimbabweans will elect a President, Members of the Nationwide Home of Meeting and Councilors on this date.
