Senators clinch first playoff spot since 2017 after Red Wings lose

Regardless of dropping on Tuesday night time, the Ottawa Senators ended their playoff drought.

The Detroit Purple Wings’ loss to the Montreal Canadiens locked up Ottawa’s first playoff berth since 2017.

In the meantime, Ottawa misplaced 5-2 in Columbus in opposition to the Blue Jackets, snapping the Senators’ three-game win streak.
