Zimdancehall star Freeman is out of police custody after his arrest and questioning in reference to hyperlinks to armed robbers.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the event on Tuesday night:
Reference is made to ZRP earlier submit on the arrest of musician Power Chizanga (34) aka ”Freeman”. The ZRP stories that Freeman has been launched pending additional inquiries. Extra info might be launched because the investigations unfold.
He has discovered himself linked to 2 armed theft suspects, each useless after shootouts with police.
Godknows Machingura, 44, was shot useless in a shootout with police this previous December. He was a socialite and music promoter, an in depth buddy of Freeman.
In 2021, one other robber, Charles Chirara, was gunned down and too linked Freeman.
The artist says whereas he knew the pair, he denies data of their legal actions.
