Legendary South African playwright, actor, musician and producer Mbongeni Ngema has died.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, father, husband and patriot, Mbongeni Ngema. Ngema was killed in a head-on automotive accident while getting back from attending a funeral in Lusikisiki within the Japanese Cape this night.
