Former Dynamos participant and coach David George has died.
Nicknamed Broom Boy, George died after a battle with lengthy sickness on Saturday.
He was 71.
Born in Mbare, George performed for Dynamos within the 70s and was a part of a trailblazing facet which gained 5 out six obtainable cups in 1976, specifically the league title, Nyore Nyore Charity Protect, BAT Rosebowl, Citadel Cup and Southern African Champions of Champions Cup in 1976.
He would later function their coach, most famously as Sunday Chidzambwa’s assistant after they reached the CAF Champions League last in 1998.
9 years later, he would assist Dembare to the semi-finals of the identical event beneath David Mandigora.
