Nice information that some income from the Local weather Dedication Act carbon auctions can be utilized to stop logging of forests which can be essential for salmon habitat. The income will likely be used to purchase alternative forests for logging in much less habitat-sensitive areas.
This imaginative juggling of funds is nice for the atmosphere and won’t scale back logging on state forests, a funding instrument for colleges — a win/no lose consequence.
