Oprah Winfrey endorses Fetterman over Oz in Pennsylvania Senate race

The lady who helped flip Mehmet Oz right into a family identify is backing the Republican’s opponent in Pennsylvania’s key Senate race.

Tv icon Oprah Winfrey introduced on Thursday evening that she prefers Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman over Oz within the midterm election contest.

“If I lived in Pennsylvania, I might’ve already solid my vote for John Fetterman, for a lot of causes,” WInfrey stated throughout a dialog she hosted on voting.

Oz rose to nationwide fame as a daily visitor on “The Oprah Winfrey Present” and later when Winfrey backed his personal spin off, “The Dr. Oz Present.”

Winfrey told New York Magazine in 2021 that it was “as much as the residents of Pennsylvania to determine who will signify them.”

Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, cheered the endorsement on Thursday evening.

“It’s an honor and privilege to have Oprah’s help on this race,” stated Fetterman in an announcement. “She is a frontrunner on so many points — preventing for our democracy, passing commonsense gun reform, and guaranteeing racial justice. I’m grateful for Oprah’s help and belief on the problems that matter to individuals throughout the nation and Pennsylvania as we shut out this marketing campaign.”
