Paul Nathaniel Benware, 78 yrs, of Greenhurst NY, went the be along with his Lord and Savior on the seventeenth of October 2022 on the UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born in Plattsburg, NY, on the tenth of December 1943 to Ira and Ruby Could (Pickerin) Benware Sr. Survived by a sister Hazel Evans, Troy, NY, and a brother Ira (Emma) Benware Jr., Madrid, NY.
Paul was a 1963 graduate of the Chazy Central Rural College and was concerned with a number of activities-sports, choir/musical, and workplaces. He was employed for 40+ years on the Gustavus Adolphus Youngsters’s House (Lutheran Social Companies). He was a member of the Jamestown Free Methodist Church, a.ok.a Pleasure Fellowship, the place he was very energetic for a few years.
Paul introduced and arranged Operation Christmas Baby to the world. Energetic with Boy Scouts of America as a cub grasp, taught for the American Pink Cross and volunteered with Bingo at Fluvanna Fireplace Dept. Together with quite a few different actions locally. He has received many awards recognitions.
Paul might be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and pal to many. He might be missed of their hearts.
Surviving him are his spouse of 56 years, Kathryn (Corridor) Benware, whom he married 2nd of July 1956, and two sons: Jonathan (Tammy) Benware, Falconer, NY, and David (Laurie Tiller) Benware, Adams Middle, NY. Two grandchildren, Christopher Benware, Cleveland OH, and Benjamin Benware, Mechanicville NY.
In addition to his dad and mom, he was preceded in dying by his son Daniel Benware, sisters Grace Benware and Theresa Clark, twin brothers and a grandson Matthew Benware.
Celebration of Life might be held at 11 am Saturday twenty second October 2022, at Pleasure Fellowship Church (Jamestown Free Methodist). The Rev. Dodi McIntyre will officiate.
